It is amazing to experience the serenity and atmosphere of the park after dark. Enjoy the sounds of the night creatures, including bats, mammals, owls, and other birds.
Please join us for the Full ‘Buck’ Moon Hike on July 10th.
Please arrive at the park by 7:45 pm and meet at the Roadside Pavilion by 8 pm.. The fee is only $3 per person at the link below.

Closed-toe shoes

The terrain includes grass lawn, scrub trails, loose sand and other hazards.
Please no pets; only ADA Service Animals are allowed.

Sunset Yoga!
Unwind and connect with nature in a relaxing sunset yoga session on the Thursby House Lawn, hosted by Orange City Yoga! Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this event is designed to enhance your well-being with gentle stretching and strengthening exercises in a peaceful environment.
Sunset Yoga takes place every 2nd and 4th Friday during the Summer Months! Dates are: July 11th, July 25th, August 8th, August 22nd and September 5th.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the class starts and meet on the Thursby House lawn.

Park entry fees are separate and must be paid at the ranger station. Typical fees are $6 for a vehicle with up to 8 people and $4 for a one person vehicle. If you are a Friends member, please use your punch card to enter for free.
Park after Dark
Friday, July 11th
Experience the Park After Dark!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and discovery! Kick off the adventure with a Nature Journaling Class, where you'll learn to capture the wonders of nature through art and observation. Kids can dive into hands-on crafts. You can also get your stretch on with Orange City Yoga to relax and engage your senses to fully enjoy the serenity and beauty of our park! Yoga is a separate ticket found above.
Pack a picnic dinner and savor the breathtaking sunset as it paints the sky with dazzling hues. Then, as darkness falls, step into the unknown with Park After Dark! Stroll the Spring Walk, where nature comes alive in new and unexpected ways. Listen to the mysterious night sounds, spot elusive wildlife, and look for the gator eyes in the water.
Throughout the journey, friendly volunteers will be stationed along the route, ready to share their knowledge and answer your questions. Whether you're here to explore, create, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
